Babineaux worked in his family kitchen in a quite neighborhood in Lafayette, Louisiana experimenting with thousands of different seasonings and seasoning blend combinations. He was searching for that perfect blend to use when cooking for his family, friends and neighbors. You see, in Louisiana, a combination of family, friends, food, music and dance is the spice of life.
